Jordan Duke is a Denver, Colorado based musician. He specializes in woodwinds and has a strong background on a variety of instruments including the guitar, piano, and bass. Online and in person lessons available at his home studio in Lakewood.

Jordan grew up in Stuart, Florida and started saxophone at age eleven. He began learning improvisation under the direction of Al Hager at Stuart Middle School. After junior high, he moved to New Orleans, Louisiana to study with Alvin Batiste and the incredible faculty at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. 

After high school, he relocated to Florida where he received his bachelor’s degree in music from Florida Atlantic University. During his time at FAU, he developed his sound as both a classical and jazz saxophonist and refined his technique on clarinet, flute, piano, and guitar. 

In addition to performing and composing, Jordan has spent the last decade teaching students of all ages and skill levels. His versatility as a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and song-writer has helped make him a sought after music educator. Many of his students have been admitted to the Dreyfoos School of the Arts, passed all-state and all-district auditions, and received superior ratings at Solo & Ensemble.
